NUCLEAR CAREER ARTICLES

I have an excellent construction executive who is great at his job and gets along with his co-workers fine. The problem is his attitude. It doesn’t reflect on his ability to do his job but it is causing a little frustration with his co-workers. Should I address this?

Since the quality of the construction executives work is not in question, I would suggest a meeting of the minds. This meeting should not be reflected as a reprimand but merely, a meeting to gain some perspective into this person’s demeanor and attitude. It is very possible that this person does not even realize that he/she is acting this way.

Sometimes, if you are a trusted professional mentor in this person’s life- then any suggestions will be taken seriously. Use this opportunity to professionally develop a valued construction executive!
