What is the proper dress code while interviewing?

What is considered proper attire while construction interviewing? Always dress one level up from what your construction interviewer will be wearing. If the construction employer is wearing a jacket it would be fitting for you to wear a suit. Generally speaking, darker colors such as black or blue are considered to be professional. Trendy clothes and loud ties or scarves are not always considered appropriate for construction interviewing. Proper dress shows respect for the construction employer letting them think they and the meeting are important enough to dress up for. It shows that you understand the importance of first impressions, and that appearance does make a difference when meeting with clients.
