How to resign in style?

Sometimes, construction employees get so wrapped up in a new offer, they forget their professionalism and responsibility to their construction employer. Make sure to provide sufficient advanced notice (2-4 weeks) for your employer before your departure date. Help your construction employer with your transition of a new hire, and leave on the best terms possible. Be courteous and upbeat until you depart, not bad mouthing anyone or anything, or dealing in negatives. Show appreciation for the construction employer's past efforts in helping you advance your construction career, and work to maintain positive relations with all colleagues, subordinates and managers.
