What is Construction Director of FF&E Purchasing Job Description ?
The Director of Purchasing will be responsible for all aspects of FF&E Purchasing associated with Capital Improvement Duties include the overall administration of the FF&E Purchasing Department. This candidate will be responsible for managing every aspect of the FF&E Purchasing process including the specification review process, establishing procurement strategy, assessing critical paths, coordinating logistics and working within established budgets and schedules. This candidate will interface closely with MGM MIRAGE Interior Design, Construction, Risk Management, and property level personnel. A minimum of ten (10) years experience in FF&E Purchasing in the HOSPITALITY field is required. Candidate must possess excellent communication skills, must have the ability to lead, and have had experience with both new construction projects as well as renovations in the hospitality field. Logistics planning and coordination of installation is preferred. The Director of Purchasing will report directly to the Senior Vice President of Capital Improvements.
